Farid Guliyev is an Assistant Professor of Political Science in the Department of International and Middle Eastern Studies at the American University in Dubai (AUD). His current research focuses on the political economy of energy, sustainability, and regionalism, while his earlier work examined secessionist conflicts, forced displacement, and governance in post-Soviet countries.
