Amna Khalid is a PhD candidate in International Studies at Universiti Utara Malaysia. Her research focuses on major power competition, regional security, and the strategic roles of middle powers in the Indo-Pacific. Her wider interests include defence and strategic studies, maritime and traditional security, and the evolving dynamics of US-China competition in the Indo-Pacific region.
