Nicholas dePencier Wright - President & CEO
Nick is an entrepreneur and corporate lawyer in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He holds an Honours BA in Political Philosophy from the University of King's College, Halifax and Law and MBA degrees from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.


Alex Holstein - Managing Director, Business Development
Alex Holstein holds a BA from the University of Southern California and an MSc in Russian and Post-Soviet Studies from the London School of Economics, where he wrote his thesis on the Soviet KGB. Through years of extensive research and worldwide experience, Alex has developed a strong grasp of foreign affairs, maintaining a particular interest in espionage, terrorism, special operations, border security and international relations. A former Executive Director of the Republican Party of San Diego County, he has debated and spoken on these subjects at numerous events throughout Southern California, many of which featured his lecture series Threat Matrix: Deciphering Allies and Enemies in the Global War on Terror. He is currently a contributing expert for International Security and Intelligence issues at the SUN News Network in Canada.


Zachary Fillingham - Managing Editor & Asia Analyst
Zachary holds a BA in International Relations from York University in Toronto, Canada and an MA in Chinese Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London, England. Zachary's primary area of expertise is Chinese foreign policy. He has lived and worked extensively in Asia and speaks Mandarin.


William Sapp - Analyst
Will holds an Honours BA in History from the University of Toronto and an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Will's expertise is in commodities and international history with a focus on post-colonial South Asia and Africa.


Alessandro Bruno - Middle East & Africa Analyst
Alessandro holds a BA in Near Eastern Studies, an MA in Middle East Studies and has completed PhD course work in Middle East Politics, all at the University of Toronto. Alessandro specializes in African, Arab and international affairs with a focus on strategic political and economic developments. He has been published extensively and is a frequent guest on television news programs including the BBC, CBC and CTV. Alessandro has worked as an industry analyst, lived and worked abroad extensively and is fluent in English, Italian, Spanish and French with a working knowledge of Portuguese, Arabic and German.


Christopher S. Ljungquist - Latin America Analyst
Christopher holds a BA in Latin America Area Studies from American University and an MSc in Comparative Politics (Latin America) from the London School of Economics, where he wrote on the Bolivarian Revolution in Venezuela. He has specialized in Latin American civil-military relations, South American security issues and the influence of religion in geopolitical dynamics. Christopher has lived and travelled extensively in Latin America and Europe and has been a research guest at the Chilean Armed Forces’ Academia de Guerra and the Academia de Estudios Politicos y Estrategicos, in Santiago, Chile. He has applied the skills he developed as the Director of Policy Analysis at the Republican Party of San Diego to the work he has done as a political analyst for a law firm in Madrid, Spain. In Madrid he has advised media on various issues of American politics. Christopher is fluent in English and Spanish.
